Haven't had much experience with Ethiopian food and didn't really like it the last time I had it. However, really enjoyed their veggie platter! Also note the portion sizes are quite generous

Awash is a true gem for authentic Ethiopian cuisine. The food tastes like it comes straight from a family kitchen, full of warmth, tradition, and fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every dish is seasoned beautifully, the injera is soft and delicious, and you can taste the love and care in every plate. The restaurant has a cozy mom and pop feel, the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome. It is usually just one person serving, so patience is required, which is completely understandable. The service is genuine, kind, and attentive, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful, truly authentic Ethiopian food, Awash is the place to go. I will definitely be returning.

Thank You for My First Ever Ethiopian Cuisine Experience at Awash! 🎍The texture of the bread was divine!! I’ve imagined what it’s like but Awash delivered it even better than what I expected. I learned that the Injera bread is made from Teflon flour and each piece is likely 75-100 calories, so guilt free!!! 🥬 The veggitable platter had 7 different kinds on and each of them has a unique flavor and texture. The beef was tasty and soft. Portion was grandiose! 💁‍♀️ The staff there are very nice and helpful. Thank you Awash for this unforgettable experience!
